The Richards Trauma Process (TRTP) is a revolutionary therapy that effectively resolves anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other trauma-related issues. Developed by Judith Richards, TRTP is based on the principles of deep imagination and body language. Here is how it works:
  1. Understanding Trauma: TRTP views anxiety, depression, and PTSD as symptoms caused by unresolved distressing events from the past. These traumatic experiences are stored in the unconscious mind and continue to impact the individual as if they are happening in the present.

  1. Deep Imagination: TRTP uses the language of the unconscious and body—deep imagination—to address trauma where it is stored. By doing so, it aligns with the requirements for trauma resolution outlined by trauma experts:
Empowerment: The person must be moved to an empowered position in relation to the trauma. Closure: The body must recognize that the traumatic event is over.
  1. Three Steps to Resolution:
Core Beliefs: TRTP initially addresses underlying, unconscious core beliefs that keep individuals stuck in negative patterns. By resolving these beliefs, self-sabotage is avoided during subsequent therapy. Emotional Charge: TRTP removes the emotional charge from past traumas, empowering clients and shifting them from fight/flight/freeze responses to a self-regulated state. Resolution: The traumatic memory is firmly placed in the past, and symptoms (such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD) simply cease.
  1. Quick and Safe: TRTP achieves results in just a few sessions (typically five 1.5-hour sessions), whereas conventional treatments can take years.
TRTP takes clients by the hand to the other side of their pain, allowing them to move from distress to calm and empowered well-being. If you want to know more than book a complimentary discovery call.
